Fon’s Clock Works

If you visit Fon’s Clock Works at 5760 W Pleasant Ridge Road, you won’t see just a few clocks and watches, you’ll see a whole bunch of ‘em. The little store is jam-packed with clocks and watches of all sizes and prices.  

The owner Phong Tran (Fon) opened for business in September of 1990 after his journey in the ’80s from Vietnam to Arkansas to D/FW.

Over the years Fon has developed a great reputation for his knowledge of repairs, and excellent service. He has been trusted to work on rare antiques, tower clocks and museum pieces and he still does small jobs like battery replacement and cleaning. He’s been written-up in the Star-Telegram several times.

Fon and his wife Xuyen live in Arlington and have two sons in college.

If you look closely, you can notice three blue turtledoves who have built their nest in Fon’s sign. This has to be a symbol of good luck!
