Arlington Texas 4th of July parade

Independence Day-inspired floats
fill the streets of downtown Arlington!

Arlington’s annual 4th of July parade consists of generally 150 float entries and thousands of spectators, ranging over the years from of 5,000 to 70,000 folks.

The downtown streets are decorated with everything from marching bands to exotic automobiles, military color guards to clowns, and all kinds of unique presentations. While some professionally build their floats, many take pride in their own individual ingenuity. Many local organizations and businesses come together to participate in these yearly festivities.

Be sure to stick around for the Award Ceremony that will be held after the parade at Heritage Park, 201 W. Front Street at 1 pm, to recognize excellence within each of several categories.
