Rangers 10-Game Hot Streak; Ken Burns Throws First Pitch

The Texas Rangers are in the middle of claiming Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and in the middle of negotiations to sell the team to a new group that includes president and pitching legend, Nolan Ryan.
But they’re also in the middle of a hot season with a 10-game winning streak (the best in baseball) and the lead in their division.
Updated June 25th:
PBS’s infamous Ken Burns threw out the first pitch at Rangers’ Stadium this past Wednesday. The documentary film-maker was in Arlington to promote his upcoming baseball series, The Tenth Inning, which will air on PBS stations in September.
Fans know the Rangers have gotten hot before, but never when the playoffs come around.
Will this year be different?
Is the sale of the team good or a distraction?

Every streak is bound to end eventually, but now there’s even more reason to come back and beat Houston.
Bankrupt, but not in the W column!
Think Positive and lend all the energy to winning..
10 game winning streak.on the line..unless the Rangers bats wake-up..
if nolan ryan is interested in being involved in buying the texas rangers, then obviously the bankrupticy issue is no more than #’s…….no one in their right minds would purchase a losing money franchise with the risk of losing their investment unless they knew something the public does not…….as savvy as mr. ryan is, i’m sure he has insight to the sale of the rangers & that’s why his name remains on the table……now if he were to pull his name as being a buyer, then red flags would go up everywhere……
I’ll wait to see how they play AFTER the All-Star break!
